Ideal humic acid should be 4 to 6 percent in agricultural soils. But in arid and desert soils the soil organic matter and consequently humic acid is very low so that except north coastline, soil organic matter in most parts of our country is below 1% and in many places even below 0.01%. The poverty of agricultural soils in desert areas can be offset by the addition of humic substances. Since its raw material is derived from living things and is made up of terrestrial organisms, they are useful for growing any other living thing, and because the organisms are the product of the humic substances of bacteria and especially non-pathogenic soil fungi, They also contribute to the growth of these species.
